The Department of German at Princeton University seeks a Lecturer to teach German language courses during the 2022-2023 academic year. Position may be renewable for one additional academic year, pending sufficient course enrollments and departmental need.
Depending on the background of the candidate and the needs of the Department of German, responsibilities may include leading language sections, leading precepts, supervising graduate student teaching assistants, and participating in course and curriculum design.
Appointment duty time will be based on course enrollments, and any position is expected to begin on September 1, 2022.
Advanced degree required; Ph.D. preferred.
Prior teaching experience at the college or university level.
Native or near-native fluency in German.
Proven experience teaching German at a university level.
