Experience:
- Current record of fiction publications
- Collegiate-level literature and composition instruction (preferred)
Duties/Expectations:
- Teach entry-level multi-genre courses, intermediate and advanced fiction, and graduate fiction workshops
- Standard teaching load is 2-2-1: 2 classes fall, 2 classes winter, and 1 class spring or summer *Teaching load for visiting instructors is 4-4-1 for candidates if minimal publication record and 3-3-1 if substantial publication record
- Maintain an active research program, including scholarly publications
- Provide undergraduate- and graduate-level mentoring
- Serve on department, college, and/or university committees
- Participate in faculty meetings and other academic discussions
- If hired, must reside in the state of Utah
