Two-Year, Full-Time Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of English - Fall 2022

The Department of English at Haverford College invites applications for a two-year, full-time Visiting Assistant Professor appointment beginning in the 2022-23 academic year.

We seek a specialist in medieval, early modern and/or eighteenth-century studies. The position is open to diverse genres and theoretical approaches with special interest in poetry, film, performance studies, and gender studies. The successful candidate will teach five courses across the academic year and receive research support. Applicants should have completed the PhD by July 1, 2022. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to engaging a diverse student body and creating an inclusive classroom environment in a liberal arts context.
