Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Lecturer of German

The Department of German & Russian invites applications for a full-time, one semester position as Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Lecturer of German for the Spring semester 2020. The position involves teaching German 102, the second semester of our year-long Elementary German course (MTWTh), and German 104, our fourth-semester Intermediate German II course (MWF). The semester runs from February 5, 2020 through May 25, 2020. ABD required, PhD desirable. Consideration of applications will begin on October 12, 2019 and continue until the position is filled. The application deadline has now been extended to November 22, 2019. Preliminary interviews will be held via Skype, followed by an on-campus interview. For initial application, please submit cover letter and CV; recommendations will be requested at a later stage.
