Assistant Professor of Global Studies

The Missouri State University Department of World Languages and Cultures anticipates opening for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Global Studies. Candidates must have an earned doctorate (Ph.D.) in Classical Languages or field related to global studies, a demonstrated record of teaching excellence at the university level, a demonstrated scholarly record, and a commitment to work with diverse student and community populations, a demonstrated record of teaching excellence at the university level, a demonstrated scholarly record, and a commitment to work with diverse student and community populations. Duties include teaching undergraduate courses in Classics and Global Studies delivered via traditional classroom and/or online; advising Global Studies majors, pursuing classics-related research leading to publication in refereed journals and paper presentations at professional meetings; and providing service to Missouri State University, the profession, and the community.
