One year Spanish Lecturer

One-year lecturer position in Spanish

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Fordham University seeks to hire two full-time lecturers in Spanish for academic year 2022-23, both at its Rose Hill campus in the Bronx. This is a one-year non-renewable position. PhD or ABD in Peninsular or Spanish American literature, cultural studies, linguistics, or second language acquisition required. The successful candidate will possess native or near-native ability in Spanish and English and demonstrate excellence in teaching at all levels. Administrative experience with Spanish-language programs and experience with new technologies are a plus. Lecturers teach a 4/4 load in the required language sequence (elementary through high advanced) with opportunities to teach content courses at the intermediate and advanced levels.
