Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Rhodes College (Memphis, TN) invites applications for a one-year position Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor of Spanish to begin in August 2022. We seek candidates with native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English, a strong background in beginning and intermediate language teaching, experience teaching Spanish at the university level, and who demonstrate familiarity with current methods in second-language pedagogy. Master's degree in Spanish or M.A.T. in Spanish required. Teaching load will be three courses per semester, from first to third-semester Spanish language classes, as well as contributing to co-curricular offerings and activities in the department.
