Visiting Assistant Professor of German

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Rhodes College (Memphis, TN) invites applications for a one semester position in German Studies to begin in August 2022. The successful candidate will have a record of teaching excellence in German at the college/university level. Native or near-native proficiency in German, Master's degree in German (or equivalent course work) or M.A.T. in German required, and a strong understanding of and interest in working in an undergraduate-focused, liberal arts environment are all required. Area of specialization is open. Teaching load is three courses, 2 sections of German 101 and one survey of German Literature, Culture, and Society from 1871 to the present.
