Spanish Instructor

Louisiana State University, Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, invites applications for a Spanish Language Coordinator at the rank of Instructor to begin August 2021. This is a non-tenure track position.

 

Teach beginning and intermediate language classes; supervise and train graduate teaching assistants.  100%

 

Required Qualifications: Master's or equivalent degree in Spanish or related area

 

Preferred Qualifications:  Ph.D. in Spanish or related area; 2 years experience; Strong commitment to undergraduate teaching; familiarity with current language pedagogy; native-like fluency in Spanish proficiency. Experience at the university level.

 

***Potential opportunity to assume duties that are separate from the primary job responsibilities of Instruction which entails coordination of lower-level Spanish courses. This may be awarded through additional compensation.***
