About the Lycoming College English Department:

The English Department at Lycoming College currently consists of eight full-time faculty members, all of whom have published extensively. It sponsors both an international and student-run journal, as well as a vibrant reading series. The Literature track in the English major seeks to introduce students to the breadth of English literature from Britain to America and around the world. In doing so, it aims to introduce students to works and authors both canonical and previously marginalized. Faculty in the Literature track work closely with students, helping them to hone their critical reading and writing skills, and affording them opportunities to present their work to the wider community.
