Tenure-track Position in Mexican and/or Latinx Cultural and Literary Studies

The Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Northwestern University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor, with a preferred start date of September 1, 2023. We seek a scholar and teacher working in the fields of Mexican literary and cultural studies and/or transnational Latinx studies. 

Candidates should be able to demonstrate scholarly achievement and promise, a commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching in Spanish and English, and a willingness to participate fully in a vibrant program with strong ties to neighboring disciplines in the humanities, arts, and social sciences. Applicants must have Ph.D. in hand by time of appointment.
