Assistant Professor of Spanish - Tenure Track

The Department of World Languages and Cultures at Bradley University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Spanish on the tenure track beginning Fall 2023. We seek a Generalist who can teach all levels of Spanish language, culture and literature. A Ph.D. in Spanish language studies is required, ABD will be considered. Native / near-native fluency in both Spanish and English is required. Teaching load 3/3.

Desirable candidates will show interest in teaching interdisciplinary courses in English (Bradley Core Curriculum, First-year seminars in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, World Languages in Translation) as well as a course in English titled "Introduction to Language". Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in college-level teaching and experience teaching all levels of language and culture.
