Senior Lecturer in German Language

Position Description

The Department of German, Russian, and East European Studies invites applications for a Senior Lecturer in German Language. This is a full-time, non-tenure-track, renewable appointment with an initial term of three years. The teaching load is three courses per semester.

Our ideal candidate is committed to student-centered Communicative Language Teaching; will conduct and develop German language courses at all levels of instruction; has experience in teaching German for the Professions (business, engineering, sustainability, etc.); is eager to support our program’s outreach and recruitment efforts; and is deeply committed to equitable and inclusive teaching and working with a diverse student population.
