Open-Rank Position in Early Modern and Renaissance Literature

American University of Sharjah, an internationally ranked and accredited American-style university of approximately 5,000 students in the United Arab Emirates, seeks a full-time faculty member specializing in Early Modern and Renaissance studies to teach courses in undergraduate literature, general education, and academic writing in the Department of English. We are particularly interested in candidates with the ability to teach Restoration and 18th-century British Literature as well as candidates with interdisciplinary approaches to literary studies. 

A PhD in a relevant field is required. Successful candidates will have a strong record of excellence in teaching, ongoing scholarly publication, and a demonstrated commitment to productive institutional service.
