Assistant Professor of Spanish

The Department of Languages and Literatures at Oklahoma State University is searching for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish with a specialization in Mexican literature to begin in the Fall 2023 term. In addition to maintaining an active research agenda, this person will be expected to teach a wide range of undergraduate classes, including elementary and intermediate language as well as upper-division language, literature, and culture classes. Classes in English translation are also a possibility. A successful candidate should be willing to teach from a multicultural perspective and be willing to mentor ethnically and racially underrepresented students, as well as participate in service assignments within the Department, College of Arts and Sciences, and University. Ph. D. in hand by the time of appointment.
