We seek a dynamic teacher and practitioner who is aware of new developments in our evolving media landscape, and who is prepared to support a diverse group of students in making and critiquing media that will make an impact in the world. Applicants must also have strong knowledge of video production equipment and editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, etc.) We especially encourage applications from candidates with expertise in contemporary Black, Latinx, indigenous, feminist, LGBTQ, and/or environmentalist filmmaking and media production. The ability to teach an introduction to film studies courses is desirable. Teaching load is 3 courses per semester.
