The Department of English at Millersville University seeks an Assistant Professor of English with a focus in Ecostudies. The successful candidate is required to have a Ph.D. in English or Comparative Literature (or related discipline), or ABD with Ph.D. by time of appointment, with a focus in Ecostudies. The successful candidate may teach literature, theory, and writing courses as needed. Actual assignments will depend upon department needs. Four courses per semester, with potential for summer teaching.  Current needs exist in both traditional and online learning environments. The successful candidate will be able to conduct classes through multifaceted teaching strategies for face-to-face classroom delivery and/or web-enhanced or web-based formats.
