The Department of Modern Languages at the University of Nebraska at Kearney is seeking a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor to start in August 2020.
Job duties: Responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in the online Spanish MAE; teaching undergraduate foreign-language classes; service to the department, college, and/or university.
Required qualifications: Ph.D. (or ABD) in Spanish or related field (at time of appointment). Evidence of successful teaching. Evidence of research potential.
Preferred qualifications: Ability to teach French and Spanish undergraduate courses in language and culture. Experience or interest in online teaching and course development. Experience or interest in developing foreign language for the Professions courses. Willingness to lead study abroad programs.
