Tenure- or teaching track English Professor and Education Licensure Program Coordinator

The English Program and the School of Humanities at the University of Southern Mississippi invite applicants for a full-time, 9-month, tenure- or teaching-track English professor and education licensure program coordinator.

 

Duties for the position include teaching undergraduate courses for the English licensure program, participating in program assessment, and preparing reports for external accrediting bodies. Candidates must have three years of teaching experience at the middle or high school level as well as an MA in English from an accredited college or university by the time of appointment. To be hired at the tenure track level, a Ph.D. from an accredited college or university in English, English Education, or related field is required.
