Assistant Professor – Developmental Writing
Tenure-track assistant professor to teach face-to-face and online courses in developmental writing as well as additional writing, literature, and/or language courses appropriate to qualifications. Candidates with additional expertise in any of the following areas are especially encouraged to apply: children’s or young adult literature; English Language Arts (K-12) education; rhetorical genre studies; Spanish language. The start date of this position is August 2023.
Ph.D. in English, rhetoric and composition, literature, or a related field required by August 1, 2023. Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching college-level writing. Potential for undergraduate teaching excellence, effective communication skills, and the interpersonal skills to work with a diverse array of students and colleagues.
