Assistant Professor – Journalism and Professional Writing
Tenure-track assistant professor position in journalism and professional writing to teach face-to-face and online courses in journalism and professional/technical writing, as well as additional writing courses appropriate to qualifications. Candidates with additional expertise in college media advising and/or multi-media and social media content creation are especially encouraged to apply. The start date of this position is August 2023.
Ph.D. in journalism, English, rhetoric and composition, communication, digital content creation, or a related field required by August 1, 2023. Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching college-level writing. Potential for undergraduate teaching excellence, effective communication skills, and the interpersonal skills to work with a diverse array of students and colleagues.
