Assistant Professor of English

Tenure-Track Assistant professor of English with specialization in American Literature from the beginnings to the American Civil War. Secondary specialization in Southern Literature or Women’s Literature is highly desirable. PhD in English by August 1. 2023. The successful candidate must also demonstrate interest and ability in teaching first-year writing courses. 12 hour teaching load per semester.
