The Theater and Performance Studies Program at Yale University is looking to hire a tenured Associate/Full Professor, Performance Theory beginning July 2024, January 2025, or July 2025. The successful candidate will employ any of a range of current critical modalities to interpret aesthetic and social forms of performance. Given the recent decolonial turn in the field, building upon but also revising its formative interculturalism, we seek a scholar whose scholarship and teaching traverses multicentric canons of theory.

Qualifications
The appointee must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and a proven record of outstanding research and teaching in performance theory.
