Italian Cinema -- Lecturer (Part-time, non-tenure-track)

Romance Studies and Film & Media Studies

 

The Department of Romance Studies and the Film and Media Studies Program at Tufts University are searching for a part-time lecturer for Spring 2020 to teach a course at the undergraduate level on Italian Cinema. This course should cover the history of Italian Cinema from its inception until the present day, although it may focus on particular periods and movements such as Italian Neorealism. It may also include major theorists and critics of Italian Cinema.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

A PhD in Film Studies or a related field, or Italian Literature and/or Culture with an expertise in Italian Cinema, is preferred although ABDs will be considered; knowledge of Italian language is also preferred.
