Job Description:

The English Department at Le Moyne College, located in Syracuse, NY, invites applications for the full-time, tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Creative Writing. We seek a specialist in fiction or poetry, with the ability to teach a second Creative Writing genre.

In addition to teaching Creative Writing courses, the successful candidate will teach undergraduate literature courses in the major and courses that serve Le Moyne's Core Curriculum program, including Critical Writing, Major Authors, and Literature and Culture. The normal teaching load at Le Moyne is 6 courses. The position begins in August, 2024.


Requirements:

The successful candidate must possess an MFA in Creative Writing or a PhD in Creative Writing of English by position start date.

Pay Range (Master's Degree): $53,000 - $56,500 annually

Pay Range (Doctoral Degree): $61,000 - $64,500 annually
