Tenure-Track Advanced Assistant or Beginning Associate Professor position in Spanish

The Department of Modern Languages & Literatures of Fordham University seeks applicants for a tenure-track Advanced Assistant or Beginning Associate Professor position in Spanish, with expertise in Foreign Language Pedagogy and/or Second Language Acquisition, to be based primarily at the Rose Hill campus.  The successful candidate must demonstrate experience and expertise in second-language teaching theories, research, and methodologies and curricular development, program coordination, evaluation of teaching staff, and course assessment. The ideal candidate will have experience with communicatively oriented, proficiency-based, culturally sensitive, diverse and inclusive language instruction, with technology-based solutions for language learning, and evidence of excellence in teaching Spanish language at the beginning, intermediate and advanced levels.
