The Department of English at Middle Tennessee State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant/associate professor (#123370) with a specialty in the “long 18th-Century” of British Literature – roughly 1670 through 1800. Start date for this position is August 1, 2020. Must have a terminal degree in English by appointment date.
Responsibilities will include teaching graduate-level and upper-level undergraduate courses that are part of the English Major and Minor, as well as General-Education English courses, including writing courses. The successful candidate will have an active research agenda.
