Tufts University, Department of Romance Studies is soliciting applications for a Part-Time Lecturer position in Italian for the Spring Semester of 2024 to teach one upper-level course in Italian culture (in Italian). The course will meet twice a week and it will explore the creative works (cinema, music, literature, art and fashion) of first-generation Italians. The incoming instructor will receive a course syllabus and some of the course materials, while they will also have a role in crafting the course content.
Requirements: M.A. or equivalent, previous college-level teaching experience, native or near-native fluency in Italian, familiarity with language-teaching methodology and instructional technology.
