Assistant Professor in Creative Writing–Poetry

The Department of English at Oklahoma State University seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Creative Writing-Poetry beginning in August 2024, contingent upon available funding. Responsibilities include a 2/2 teaching load of introductory through graduate creative writing workshops, as well as advising graduate students and willingness and ability to serve on thesis, dissertation, and exam committees. Appropriate terminal degree (MFA or PhD), significant national publication with at least one book in print or under contract, and demonstrated teaching excellence required.
