McKendree University is seeking a full-time, 12-month combination appointment as Writing Center Director and Instructor of first-year composition. Responsibilities include overseeing the hiring and training of tutors, as well as overseeing scheduling, outreach, and promotion. The position will also include teaching three sections of first-year composition each semester. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in Writing Center administration and composition instruction. Experience with developmental writing and English Language Learning is a plus.
Applicants should have a Master’s degree or a doctorate in English or Composition.
