Associate or Full Professor of Asian, Asian American, and Diasporic Literature

Duke University’s Department of English seeks a dynamic scholar with expertise in Asian, Asian American, and Diasporic Literature for a position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor with tenure. Advanced Assistant Professors with a distinguished publication record will also be considered. We seek a colleague with expertise in any historical period and genre, who will expand upon the department’s interdisciplinary strengths.

The successful candidate will offer the core literature course in the Asian American and Diasporic Studies program and will have opportunities for leadership as the program grows. This position complements a cluster of recent hires designed to increase the number of faculty with global perspectives and expertise across core departments in the Trinity College of Arts and Sciences.
