Successful candidates will aspire to be part of a diverse community that affirms an abundance of identities, experiences, and perspectives in order to imagine, examine, and implement possibilities for individual and communal thriving both inside and outside of the Department of English.
The Department: This position will be housed in the English Department, working in collaboration with the Education Department. Some work has begun on revising the Literature / Communication Arts major; the successful candidate will be able to play a role in reshaping that program. We are a dynamic and highly interdisciplinary department, coordinating classes and programs with Women’s and Gender Studies, Global Studies, Environmental Studies, the Offutt School of Business, Education, and more. We also are a department dedicated to scholarship, with regular publications and presentations.
