The Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures at Wichita State University is seeking applications for a full-time tenure-track position in American Sign Language (ASL) at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in August 2024. This position will also serve as the Director of the new ASL degree program. The position involves engaging in scholarly activity; teaching three courses per semester at the undergraduate level and accommodating a variety of learning styles in instructional delivery including online and blended learning; working with colleagues, advising students; and serving the department, the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the university, and the community.
