Visiting Spanish Language Lecturer

Pitzer College invites applications for the position of Visiting Spanish Language Lecturer. The successful candidate will be joining the Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures (MLLC) field group (academic department), which offers courses in Spanish, Portuguese, and French languages and cultures. Candidates should have solid training and demonstrated excellence in language teaching at the undergraduate level. Ability and/or experience teaching Portuguese Language courses is a plus. Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and a master’s or doctoral degree in Spanish, Portuguese, or a related field are required. The successful candidate’s responsibilities in teaching will include a total of six lower-division and conversation language courses per year as needed.
