Duties and Responsibilities: Teach 4 courses per semester, including both creative writing/fictions writing and first-year composition.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s or MFA degree in English with specialization in creative writing (fiction), or related field from an accredited college or university by date of appointment and at least three semesters of experience teaching writing at the college level. (Rank/title: Assistant Lecturer with MA.

Preferred Qualifications: MFA or terminal degree in English/creative writing (fiction), or related field from an accredited college or university by date of appointment; three or more semesters’ experience teaching first-year writing at the college level; two or more semesters’ experience teaching creative writing at the collect level; experience with teaching or scholarship in (or demonstrable commitment to) diversity, equity, and inclusion.(Rank/title: Assistant Teaching Professor with terminal degree.
