The Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics at Florida State University invites PhDs in Spanish or Hispanic Studies to apply for a full -time Teaching Faculty I position beginning Fall 2020. Applicants are required to show familiarity with contemporary approaches to communicative language teaching and to have their PhD conferred by August 1, 2020. The selected candidate is expected to teach 4 courses each in Fall and Spring, 2 in Summer, and perform service as needed for the program and department. Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching. Native or near native proficiency in Spanish and English are required.
