Full-Time One-Semester Lecturer in Spanish

The Department of Languages and Cultures at Fordham University seeks to hire one full-time lecturer in Spanish for the fall semester of 2024 only, at its Rose Hill campus in the Bronx. This is a one-semester non-renewable position. PhD or ABD in Peninsular or Spanish
American literature, cultural studies, linguistics, or second language acquisition required. The successful candidate will possess native or near-native ability in Spanish and English and demonstrate excellence in teaching at all levels. Administrative experience with Spanish-
language programs and experience with new technologies are a plus. Lecturers teach a 4/4 load in the required language sequence (elementary through high advanced) with opportunities to teach content courses at the intermediate and advanced levels.
