The Department of World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a full-time visiting faculty appointment in Arabic Studies (https://www.holycross.edu/academics/programs/arabic) to
begin August 2024. This is a one-semester appointment with a teaching load of 2 courses. These courses include elementary and intermediate Arabic language. Candidates must have native or near-native proficiency in Arabic and English, a Master’s degree or above (including ABD) with expertise in Arabic language and culture.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching as informed by current practice and
scholarship in the field.

Provide information about the location of the class and the level of the students in your video, the topic(s) that your lesson covered, and the learning goals you had for the students in that class.
