Full-time lecturer

The Department of Languages and Cultures at Fordham University seeks to hire one full-time lecturer in Spanish for the 2024-2025 academic year, at its Rose Hill campus in the Bronx. This is a full year, non-renewable position. PhD or ABD in Peninsular or Spanish American literature, cultural studies, linguistics, or second language acquisition required. The
successful candidate will possess native or near-native ability in Spanish and English and demonstrate excellence in teaching at all levels. Administrative experience with Spanish-language programs and experience with new technologies are a plus. Lecturers teach a 4/4 load in the required language sequence (elementary through high advanced) with opportunities to teach content courses at the intermediate and advanced levels. Union membership and benefits are attached to this position, which pays $70,956.30. for the year.
