Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor of Spanish

Centre College seeks a diverse pool of candidates for a one-year position in Spanish at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor of Spanish beginning August 2024. The successful candidate will be committed to excellent liberal arts teaching and qualified to teach a range of undergraduate Spanish courses. Applicants must have native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English and demonstrated teaching excellence; area of specialization is open. Special consideration will also be given to candidates who have successfully taught and mentored students from diverse backgrounds and identities, who create inclusive environments, and whose work explicitly engages issues of identity, diversity, and/or inclusivity.
