Assistant Professor of Spanish

The Department of Languages and Literatures at Oklahoma State University seeks to fill the position of a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish with a specialization in Spanish Linguistics. In addition to maintaining an active research agenda, this person will be expected to teach an undergraduate course on Spanish phonetics every year, as well as a wide range of undergraduate classes, including elementary and intermediate language, advanced language, culture and linguistics, and fourth-year seminars on selected topics. The successful candidate should be willing to teach from a multicultural perspective and be willing to mentor ethnically and racially underrepresented students. Ph. D. in hand by the time of appointment in August 2020.
