The Department of English, Humanities, and Philosophy at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, invites applications for a Lecturer in English beginning Fall 2024. The appointment is for nine months, full time. The position carries a 4/4 teaching load consisting mainly of first-year writing classes. The position will require on-campus teaching, and may include opportunities for online instruction. Required qualifications include an MA or PhD in English or Composition and Rhetoric and experience teaching first-year composition at the college level, preferably in an interdisciplinary setting. Experience teaching developmental or corequisite courses is preferred.
