Trinity College’s Department of Language and Culture Studies invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Modern Hispanophone Studies to begin in Fall 2025. We seek an exceptional scholar whose research and teaching balances a strong coverage of Iberian literature and culture from the nineteenth century to the present with the broader approach to issues of colonial history and its complex legacy through the lens of ethnic, migration, border, and transnational studies in the Mediterranean and parts of Africa and Asia.

The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in the field of Modern Hispanophone studies or Iberian studies by August 2025.
