Lindsey Wilson College, a liberal arts college in Kentucky, invites applications for an Assistant Professor of English to begin in August 2025. The candidate’s specialization is open but may include areas such as women’s literature and/or queer literature of any time period or region, queer theory, and gender studies. Ph.D. in English or a related field is preferred, but A.B.D. will be considered; college teaching experience preferred; Women’s and Gender Studies certificate a plus.

The successful candidate’s teaching responsibilities will include freshman composition, general education literature courses, and upper-level seminars. This position emphasizes teaching, advising, scholarship (broadly defined), and service to the college. A strong commitment to exemplary teaching at the undergraduate level and collegiality are expected.
