The Department of English at the University of Southern California invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment in early modern literature from 1500 to 1700. We look for applicants with a strong research profile and welcome applications across a range of research methodologies. Applicants must have a commitment to effective teaching and mentoring at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The PhD must be in hand by start date.

The annual base salary range for this position is $106,400 - $127,680.
