The Department of English at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Poetry and Poetics to join one of the nation’s top-ranked Ph.D. programs in Creative Writing--home of Prairie Schooner and Zero Street Fiction. The assistant professor will contribute to the department's undergraduate and graduate curricula in the areas of creative writing and poetry, contribute to the department's research and creative activity, and conduct service responsibilities. Candidates must have an M.F.A. in Creative Writing and/or a Ph.D. in English by August 18, 2025.
