Associate or Full Professor of Spanish
Director, Division of Spanish and Portuguese
Candidates should possess an earned doctorate in a related field. specialization open. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a research and teaching agenda appropriate for an R-1 institution and will be encouraged to seek external funding (which could include fellowships, grants, and other forms).
The Division Director provides leadership for a Division with more than 30 full-time faculty members. The Division Director’s duties include overseeing the daily operation of the Division, engaging in short- and long-term planning, assisting the Department Chair with faculty recruitment and evaluation and coordinating curricular planning and assessment and, with the assistance of the Director of Undergraduate Studies in Spanish, scheduling classes and recruiting and advising students.
