We support an engaged cadre of graduate students and offer an undergraduate writing minor along with a well-enrolled writing concentration within the English major. Faculty in our program work closely with students and play a key role in shaping the future of our curriculum and research initiatives. Faculty have opportunities to affiliate with interdisciplinary programs, including Health Humanities, Game Studies, and Digital Humanities, allowing for broad cross-disciplinary engagement and research.

The successful candidate will teach a 2-2 load made up of graduate and undergraduate writing, rhetoric, and related courses; contribute to both undergraduate and graduate curricula; mentor students; participate in select writing program administrative activities; and engage in ongoing scholarly research.
